Please circle the dates for which you are registering. Please use one registration form per participant. Thank you! The new site for the sailing program will be at Hickory Cove. Participants are to be dropped off at the CCC 20 minutes prior to the start of the class and will have a 15 minute walk on Chappy trails to the site or they can ride bikes to the site. They will be back at the CCC at the ending time.

Both age and experience will be considered in assigning class times.

Sailing Minimum age is 8 years as of January 1, 2008.

Please select your choice of class level and circle the dates you want to attend. Class space will be on a “first come, first served” basis. Maximum: 12 per class.

Snorkel Safari (Ages 6 – 12)
Children who have ever wondered what really lives “under the sea” will have an opportunity to use masks and nets to see crabs, seaweeds and fish that call Poucha Pond home. Nets and masks are provided. Bathing suits and water shoes are required. Restrooms are located at the
Dike Bridge gatehouse. Please circle class in which you are interested. Participants are to be dropped off at the Dike Bridge and will walk to the snorkeling area.

Night Hike (Ages 4 – 8 with parent or guardian)

Families that have ever wondered what flies, hunts, squeaks and screeches under the cover of darkness will have an opportunity to strap on a headlamp and take a hike through the Mytoi Saltmarsh to look for the Not-So-Creepy Creatures of the Night! With the use of an underwater lamp, a bat detector, a million candlepower spotlight, headlamps, nets, and moth attractors, children will get to experience a variety of animals that call Chappaquiddick home! End the evening with cookies and a drink, and don’t forget your coloring book! Did we mention that we have a spotting scope available because we plan these programs under the many visible phases of the moon?
